The Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) has the following job opening:
As Bielefeld University's Institute for Advanced Study ZiF promotes outstanding interdisciplinary and innovative research projects. It is a thematically independent research institution and open to researchers from all countries and all disciplines. In addition to long-term research projects, ZiF hosts about 50 academic meetings and conferences a year.
The next ZiF research group will be concerned with "The Epistemology of Evidence-Based Policy: How Philosophy can Facilitate the Sciencepolicy Interface". It will be composed of international researchers who will work and meet at ZiF between February and June 2023. The group is led by Dr. Anne Schwenkenbecher (Murdoch University), Dr. Remco Heesen (University of Western Australia) and Prof. Chad Hewitt (Murdoch University).
Organisation and content-related support of the interdisciplinary research group. This includes the following:
- content-related and organisational support of the group's convenors (40 %)
- coordination and organisation of the research group (30 %)
- academic contributions to the group's work (10 %)
- content and organisational follow-up activities of the research group (20%)
- salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L
- befristet (limited until 30.11.2023) (§ 14 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 TzBfG)

- experience in organising events (workshops, conferences)

- experience in compiling and editing scientific publications
