Your Tasks
- conducting an independent research project in public policy as well as contributing to the research of the working group (e.g. publications, project proposals) (70 %)
- teaching in the amount of 4 LVS in the area of Comparative Politics / Public Policy, including supervision of students and of course papers and theses (20 %)
- contributing to academic self administration (10 %)

Your Profile
We expect
- completed studies in Political Science or a related subject (Master or equivalent)
- research profile in public policy research, with visible publication activities and research interests which closely relate to the research foci of the working group (see: https://www.uni-bielefeld.de/fakultaeten/soziologie/fakultaet/arbeitsbereiche/ab4/ags/blum/index.xml)
- fluency in English
- very good method skills, in particular qualitative methods
- excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred experience and skills
- very good well advanced or completed dissertation in the area of comparative politics / public policy
- experience with seeking third-party funding
- experience with academic teaching
- good command of German (written and spoken)
