The Faculty of Biology, Department of Chemical Ecology, has the following job opening:
Research tasks (70 %):
- research in the area of intraspecific plant chemodiversity
Teaching tasks (20 %):
- teaching in ecology/chemical ecology, 4 LVS
Other tasks (10 %):
- participation in organsational tasks
This employment promotes any scientific qualification.
- salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L

- PhD in biology or any related field
- experience in chemical-ecological and/or molecular-biological methods
- profound knowledge in chemical analysis via GC-MS or LC-MS
- excellent knowledge in statistical analysis and application of multivariate analysis
- publications in the area of ecology, chemical ecology or molecular ecology
- teaching experience in ecology
- interest in plant insect interactions
- excellent command of English in writing and speaking
- high degree of organisation and coordination skills
- cooperative and team-orientated way of working
- experience with ecological field experiments
- experience in epigenetics
