Research Associate (predoc or postdoc) in biomathematics

The position is based in mathematical population genetics. It focuses on genealogical processes under various combinations of evolutionary forces such as mutation, selection and recombination. The position can either be filled with a postdoc (100 %) or a PhD student (75 %).
Your Tasks
- Research on stochastic genetic processes (75 %)
- Collaboration in teaching to the extent of 20 % (4 LVS for a full-time position / 3 LVS for a 75 % position)
- Participation in the organisational and administrative tasks of the group (5 %)

Your Profile
We expect
- completed scientific university education (e. g. Master) in mathematics, biomathematics, or mathematical statistical physics
