The Faculty of Education is one of the largest faculties at Bielefeld University and its structure are essentially characterized by the interplay of subject-specific science and educational science and educational science. Your Tasks
- deputy to the Scientific Director of the Laboratory School (25 %), including
- supporting the long-term strategic management of research and development work at the Laboratory School
- preparation, supervision, implementation and transfer of research and development plan projects (FEP projects)
- support in managing the budget of the WE Laboratory School
- networking within the university as well as nationally and internationally
- supporting the publication strategy of the WE Laboratory School
- 8 LVS teaching (4 LVS in the tenure track phase) in the educational science degree programs; analogous to the other WE positions with an expected teaching reduction of 50 % (45 %)
- independent research work in the area described (20 %)
- advising researching teaching staff and students and academics in the implementation of research projects at the Laboratory School (5%)
- participation in the academic self-administration and in the committees of the WE Laborschule (5 %)

- completed academic university degree in the field of teaching or educational science
- completed doctorate in educational science
- very good knowledge and experience in the field of quantitative and/or qualitative empirical school research
- excellent knowledge of practical research at the Laborschule Bielefeld
- project management experience

Preferred experience and skills
- practical experience and/or research experience at a reform school
