The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics has the following job opening:
The international economics group at Bielefeld University conducts research on issues in international trade, migration, financial flows, and international policy coordination, both from a theoretical and an empirical perspective. We are looking for one or more junior researchers (Ph.D. student) who are interested in one (or several) of the research themes pursued by researchers at the Chair of International Economic Relations (Prof. Willmann) and the Chair of International Economics (Prof. Hinz).
- research in the field of International Economics (65 %)
- teaching tutorials in the area of International Economics up to 2.6 course hours per week (25 %)
- organizational tasks, e. g. co-organizing seminars and reading groups (10 %)
The positions are co-financed through a faculty program that aims at strengthening the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BiGSEM). Therefore, the active participation in the PhD program of BiGSEM is obligatory; for more information about BiGSEM see
